Mid-January the demolishers could start off. According to plan the old company was broken down within two weeks. First the old cultivation system and the screens, after which the glass could be removed. When all the glass-windows were removed, the frame-work of the old glasshouse was taken down systematically. At the same time the old boiler house and the shed were taken down. Everything was carried off efficiently and separately. Some materials and goods even found new owners. Eventually bare land was left and building could really begin.
