Autumn 2009

In the fall of 2008 preparations were made for rebuilding. An archaeological research took place to secure that no old Roman settlement was underneath. Additionally, after the last harvest the bulbs had to be dug up, to be replanted at two hired locations in order to grow for the harvest of next season in the new glasshouse. Also, the old cultivation system was broken down where possible, so that the demolition company could start bringing down the old greenhouse.

At the end of 2008 six wells were drilled. Those are going to serve as warmth and coldness storage (acquifers).
