Kwekerij Amazone is a flower nursery specialized in growing cut-amaryllis. Flower production runs from October through February, with a Christmas peak in December.

In 2009, the glasshouses and the shed have been rebuild. With help of the most modern techniques the aim is to grow the flowers as efficient and pure as possible. The assortment of Kwekerij Amazone includes 11 rich and exclusive breeds: big-flowered (dark) red, white, pink, two-coloured and a few double-flowered varieties. The growing surface in the greenhouses covers an area of 18.000 m², with a yearly production of approximately 1.000.000 stems.

On Fridays and Saturdays flowers are being sold directly to customers in the shop of the flower nursery.
